Coordinator Stephen has send a few photos of the current state of the project as well as a report on the effects. Take a look and enjoy reading!

Coordinator Stephen writes:
"The 3-classroom block that was constructed through efforts of the Dutch team and locals is now being used by the Kindergarten school children. This intervention has seen enrolment in the school at the KG department move from 70 before the project to a current number of 153. The facility has also helped to improve good quality teaching and learning. Learner ability to understand during lessons has improved. This is because they now learn in conducive learning environment will walls decorated with pictures that enhances teaching and learning. Special learning centers have been created in the classrooms where teachers take pupils there to learn. Pupils no longer have to run home from school during rains.
The inception of the project has also gone a long way to impact positively the mindset of the community towards the school and education issues. The community have painted the Primary and the JHS block. They also periodically organized themselves to clean the school compound as a community."

I also received a message from the community for the team: “World Servants, we are so grateful for opening a new chapter in Asenema community and your names had been written in the hearts of the people of the Asenema community. You will always be remembered’’.
