Mooie ontwikkelingen in Kanolo

De lerarenwoningen en de gerenoveerde klaslokalen waren vorig jaar al klaar en nu zijn ook de latrines afgerond. Een mooi gebouwtje waar de school jaren mee vooruit kan. Projectcoördinator Moffat legt uit waarom deze latrines zo belangrijk zijn voor Kanolo...

"These latrines play a key role in creating safe and healthy school environment where children focuses on education. Also the Latrines have improved attendance by school children and teachers. Having these latrines at school promotes cleanliness to students and teaches them the hygienic habits that children learn in school which we hope it will be carried on with them as they grow up. Furthermore the Latrines are helping in this community of Kanolo to stop the spread of many diseases and parasites such as diarrhoea."
